Freshiam.net just did a really cool interview with me. Check it out here. Props to Tunde for sticking to film, it is truly a lost art. He may have motivated me to break out the Mamiya RZ 67.

Scott Laney & I (Wolfe Bros Productions) had an idea one night to throw another party at my studio. We asked The Barreracudas & The Black Lips to play and old-school warehouse style party. They were in! If you were lucky enough to catch wind of our party (Which was promoted 48 before) we were serving nothing but the best liquor money can buy: PBR & 5′oclock Whiskey. I could sit here and try to explain how dope that night was or I could point you toward an article in the Creative Loafing written by The Mayor of Ponce! He killed it on this one, go read it! Enjoy a couple of flicks from the night, video will be coming out real soon, be on the look-out for that…
A couple months ago I shot a video in the Historic 4th Ward Neighborhood of Atlanta for a new artist named PILL. The track is titled: Glass. Produced by The BeatChefs. It’s safe to say in this video we kept it REAL! All handheld and no script and no plan except to film in the grimey areas PILL grew up in. Fellow Atlanta film Makers Motion Family did a video for PILL before me in the same area with different results. They shot in vibrant color and I did a Gritty Black & White treatment to offset their video. At the end of the day Atlanta has 2 videos that show a side of Atlanta mostly forgotten. We need more of this in this in our lives, say a reality check. There are many areas in Atlanta and most Urban Populations where people have been left to Die, sounds harsh but if you want to roll with me one day I will SHOW YOU! Derek Schklar & I are on a mission to show a different style of Rapper in PILL and a different take on Atlanta RAP. PILL is a cool cat and I had a great time filming this. Be on the lookout for PILL’S new mixtape 4075 The Refill coming in October. And you know I have to give credit to my boy Sumner Demoura for coming through once again with the Bomb Editing Skills. Ohh and did I forget to mention this video right here premiered on MTV JAMS! WE ARE MAKING POWER MOVES OVER HERE! Please take a couple minutes out of your day and enjoy some Realness!
VH1 brought back the Behind the Music series this week with a feature starring Lil Wayne. Check it out, its probably the most interesting one I have seen. Also be on the lookout for a couple of flicks I did of Wayne. My Stock Agency Corbis Outline placed them in the show, Thank You! Here is a link to the episode.
Somehow I got hired to shoot the cover of TIME Magazine, 2 weeks ago (on news-stands today). Actually I have to thank Leslie dela Vega for pulling for me to get the job, THANK YOU! People have no idea how hard it is to shoot something different once you get pigeon holed as a Hip-Hop shooter, but this is a new beginning right here. I shot a story about un-employment. We shot at two different offices and it was interesting to see how many people are out of work. Its been tough for everyone in 09′ Im ready for 2010! Go get you the issue and support magazines before they are all gone…
If any of you have been wondering why there has been a lack of Blog posts in the last 3 weeks, well here you go: www.zachwolfe.com
We have been on a serious grind over here loading up the new site with more photos then ever. The whole interface has been cleaned up, with a new splash page as well. The biggest change is the amount of photos at your disposal, if you see a MORE button click on the photo or the MORE button to unlock a plethora of content. The old site I would show the best flick from each shoot, now you can see the range you get from hiring me for a full day, many looks. The Site looks like it has less content but trust me we have increased it ten-fold. I am not the first person to show this many photos on a site, but am sure no one has done it any cleaner. Next time you have an hour to spare, sit back and check out the full site. We are still updating, and should have everything up in the next week. I have to thank two people for making this happen: Josh Ellington & John Ellis. Between the 3 of us we have logged a good 100 man hours getting this up. For all you kids wanting to figure out what it takes to get to this point: HARD WORK, I never stop working, for real! Enjoy…
Cosign Research (DOPE!) did a piece on me in their Optic Overload section. Check it out here!
Yes, this is the third post today about Miami, but wanted to share some more personal shots from my time there. I am experimenting with architectural night-shot / mirror-image techniques. I have a few in the can but plan to do many more. Also making an appearance is Hector my trusty Miami assistant. Enjoy!

I plucked this guy from my class I teach at Portfolio Center. John Ellis is a brave man to Intern for the likes of me. I break kids weekly, he has made it a full month, and been to several Hoods along the way. Big Ups to John for holding your head high and keeping to the job when you may be feeling a bit uncomfortable. John has been steady at work on the new and improved zachwolfe.com. In fact he is available to serve your web needs as well, or photos, the guy can do it all. Check him out here.
Just got back from hot ass Miami. Went down to shoot a new artist named C-RIDE. Had to make a stop at the Domino Park in Little Havana while location scouting. I have been coming to this park for approx 5 years. I used to go and shoot polaroids and drink coffee with these guys. The same guys i shot 5 years ago are there today. I plan on adding a gallery soon. Maximo Gomez Park is on Calle Ocho, in the Heart of Little Havana. While this place is becoming a tourist hotspot I still think it is still a very authentic experience. Click on the more button!
